Every so often, Massachusetts Freemasonry makes history all over again. This November, Brethren from across the Commonwealth will gather in Lexington for a night that blends fellowship, philanthropy, and a touch of Revolutionary War history.

It’s called “A Night of Charity” and it’s happening at the Scottish Rite Museum, 33 Marrett Road, Lexington.

Experience live cannon fire, musket salutes, music, and historic reenactments as part of the 250th anniversary of the Noble Train of Artillery. Guests can explore both indoor and outdoor exhibits and interact with artillery crews, interpreters, and musicians throughout the evening.

Featuring:
Grand Lodge Cannoneers • Knox Artillery • Pawtuxet Rangers • Lexington Minutemen • Sudbury Fife & Drum Corps • Christmas Carolers • SAR • DAR • N.S.C.A.R.

Who’s Invited

Good news: this event is open to all Masons and their families, not just members of the Scottish Rite. But you have to register soon as space is limited!

If you’ve ever wanted to bring your spouse or significant other to experience the fancier side of Freemasonry, this is the perfect occasion.

You’ll be surrounded by Brethren from across Massachusetts, leaders from the Scottish Rite, and the Grand Master himself, Most Worshipful George Forest Hamilton. And yes, there will be time to say hello, or even get that photo with him.

Why It Matters

The evening’s centerpiece is a presentation of the replica Henry Knox Cannon, a symbol of the courage and determination that helped turn the tide of the Revolutionary War.

Masons, and men who would later join the Order played a vital role in those early days of liberty, and this event celebrates your connection to that as Masons today!

But beyond the history, the evening also supports charitable causes through the Giving Tuesday Telethon.
Your attendance helps raise funds for Masonic relief programs, turning an evening of fellowship into something that directly benefits others.

For Brothers who value Charity and good works, this is one of those nights that truly reflects what it means to “walk the walk.”

A Night Worth Remembering

Whether you come for the history, the fellowship, or the cause, this evening is one of those rare opportunities to feel part of something bigger than yourself.  The Grand Master will greet you. And every act of giving that night will remind us why Freemasonry still stands strong after centuries. And how good men still show up when it counts.
